Pre-Paid Legal Services, a company based in Oklahoma which sells legal “insurance” through a multi-level marketing system, is under investigation by the SEC for securities fraud and a number of class action lawsuits have been filed against the company by consumers and sales agents. The company trades on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) as PPD.
