Monty Roberts & His Super Vision

On page 250 of “Horse Whispers & Lies”, there is a passage that states that two optometrists said they never heard of black-and-white-with-accute- sight vision. This was a response to Monty Roberts’ claim that he sees only in black and white and his implication that he also has exceptionally acute eyesight.

For clarification, Dr. Geoff White, an ophthamologist based in Monterey, California said that people with monochromatic vision are legally blind, cannot serve in the military, do not have keen eyesight and cannot get a driver’s license.

Dr. White added that there are no special lenses that allow monochromatics to see in color. In short – Monty lied about his vision!
